Chip's PIckleball Club is Hiring a Bartender Near Eagan, MN

We are a premier pickleball club featuring a sauna, cold plunge, café and bar.

We are seeking energetic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Bartender at Chip’s Pickleball Club. The Bar Staff will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience of our members and guests by providing exceptional beverage and food service in our club’s bar and restaurant area. The hours of the bar and restaurant are 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM every day.


Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on time every time for each shift you work.
  • Assume responsibility in your area of the club and take pride in your work.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, according to club standards and recipes.
  • Welcome guests to the bar area with a positive attitude and provide attentive and personalized service.
  • Take orders from members and guests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing drink requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar and kitchen area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Check IDs to verify the age of guests ordering alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
  • Process transactions accurately using Toast (the food/beverage POS system) and handle credit card payments securely.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption of patrons and intervene when necessary to prevent overindulgence or inappropriate behavior.
  • Monitor food and beverage inventory levels and communicate with management to restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and teamwork, fostering a positive and supportive work environment in the kitchen.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies, checking for accuracy and quality.


Qualification:

  • Previous experience in bartending or beverage service is preferred.
  • Knowledge of a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (ex. TIPS) is a plus but not required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must have dependable and punctual transportation to and from Chip’s.
  • Physical demands:

  • Lift/carry 31-40 lbs*

  • Occasionally: This position requires this activity up to 33% of the time.
